Bert Mims offers personalized guitar, bass, and ukulele lessons focused on technique, music theory, and reading. His teaching approach is tailored to each student's skill level and musical interests, covering a wide range of genres including rock, blues, jazz, and folk. Lessons are designed to be fun, creative, and goal-oriented — helping students grow as musicians while enjoying the journey.
Bert holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Music from Middle Georgia State University (2023) and is a graduate of the Atlanta Institute of Music’s Bass Guitar Program (2008). He is an active performer with the Kenny Ray Williams Band, Jackson Tanner Trio, Matt McMillan & the City Limits, Grassfed, and regularly appears in productions at Theatre Macon and Macon Little Theatre.
