Get ready to travel the world without leaving the studio! In this exciting week of Global Art Adventures, young artists will explore rich cultural traditions through hands-on art-making. Each day focuses on a different region and artistic style, from bold patterns to storytelling through symbols. Campers will create unique projects inspired by global masterpieces while learning about the people, traditions, and meaning behind the art.

Daily Themes:

  • Monday: Japanese Ukiyo-e Prints (Hokusai) – Learn about woodblock printing and make your own Great Wave-inspired art.

  • Tuesday: Indigenous North American Symbols – Explore animal symbolism and storytelling through texture and printmaking.

  • Wednesday: Mandalas from India & Tibet – Discover radial symmetry and create your own colorful, meditative mandala design.

  • Thursday: Turkish Mosaic Art (Turkey) - Create an artwork inspired by mosaic art.

  • Friday: Tinga Tinga (Tanzania) – Dive into bright colors and whimsical animals in this lively African folk art style.
