Casie Trace is an artist and instructor born and raised in Macon, Georgia. She studied Visual Arts at GCSU and received a BA in Visual Arts with a concentration in Painting in 2011. Since then, she has been creating and teaching art in both Macon & abroad in China.

In her latest work, she is returning to the basics by exploring shape, color, & space while also taking inspiration from her experience creating with her young art students with their playfulness and enjoyment of the art-making process.

She works in a variety of media including watercolor, collage, pastel, ink, & digital.

She has had three Solo art shows The Collective Mind (2010), Reverie (2012) & Spaced (2018).

Casie has also illustrated five children's books since 2014 and works with authors all over the world!
